Since its establishment, Vitranschart has been implementing various important strategies to constantly reform the corporation. Vitranschart has 3 subsidiaries and 6 branches nation-wide with 1,500 staffs and employees all together. The total assets of the whole company has reached about 1,114 billion VND ( 71 million USD)  by the end of 2006.

Business activities :

1. Sea transportation

Considering as it core business, specializing in ship chartering, operating, managing. Vitranschart has 237,533 DWT of 18 vessels from 1,250 DWT to 24,246 DWT in size running all over the world, carrying bulk and bagged cargoes which especially in various kind of pulps, equipment, wheat, rice, sugar, steel, coal, ore...and other agricultural products.

2. Ship agent

With a nation-wide network of branches, we can effectively provide ship agent services to customers in all and every Viet Nam major ports at reasonable and competitive tariff rates.

3. Crewmanning (labor export)

Southern Crew manning Centre (S.C.C.) is one of our subsidiaries which is specialized in crew manning service. Particularly, they recruit, train and provide qualified and professional seafarers to ship owners all lover the world.  Besides, they act as agents, brokers for manning domestic and foreign ships.

Their over 1,200 experienced seafarers have been working onboard the fleets of our own, other domestic owners and Japanese, Greek, Singapore, Taiwanese, and Hong Kong vessels.

4. Maritime Supply and Import Export (Masuco)

This is another subsidiary being engaged in direct import/export of all equipments, materials, vehicles, stores servicing marine transportation; supplying equipments, spare parts and stores; mainly clinker, gypsum - as an one of major traders of our country, distributing high grade of marine paints and Mobil lubricants... and other maritime services to domestic and foreign vessels calling at Vietnamese port.

5. Ship repair and maintenance (SMC)

This subsidiary maintains and repairs all types of motor-ship machineries i.e: main engines, diesel generator engines and other auxiliary machineries like air-compressor, anchor gears, windlasses, cargo handling gears, propeller shafting and all types of pumps, including rewinding electric motors, welding main folds, decks, sides, bottom plates.. chipping and painting.
